How do I fix a bounced email address?

When an email to a badge holder bounces (fails to deliver), AirBadge displays an email error icon on the Badges screen and Badge Applications screen. Signatories can update bounced email addresses directly.

When you can update an email address

Signatories can update an email address only when it has bounced. If an email was successfully delivered, only the badge office (ASC or TA users) can update the email address.

How to update a bounced email address

  1. Locate the badge with the email error icon on the Badges screen or Badge Applications screen
  2. Click the email error icon
  3. A modal will appear where you can enter the corrected email address
  4. Enter the new email address and save

After you update the email address, the badge holder will receive a notification of the change.

Verifying the update

AirBadge will attempt to send an email to the new address. If the email bounces again, the error icon will reappear and you can update the address again. There is no limit to how many times you can update a bounced email address.
