Visible Updates
- Document Scanning Now Required: Applicants are no longer able to skip document scanning while entering their information. Required documents must be scanned before an applicant can continue.
- Simplified Person Creation: When creating a new person at the start of a Badge Application, Signatories no longer need to enter the email address twice.
- Document Scanning Enhancements: Uploaded PDFs are now split into individual pages, and specific pages can be assigned to specific document requirements. Applicants are now prompted to crop or resize photos after uploading. Final scanned documents can include up to 8 pages, with photos automatically compressed and duplicate photos automatically removed.
- “Last Updated” Column (Badge Applications): The Badge Applications data grid now includes a “Last Updated” column showing the date and time a badge application was last updated for any reason. The column is hidden by default and can be added using the columns button.
- Ready for Validation Quick Filter: When using the “Ready for Validation” quick filter, results are sorted to show the most recently updated badge applications at the top. Switching to another quick filter returns the grid to its default view.
- PIV Card Review Instructions: When a PIV card is selected as one of an applicant’s identity documents, it now appears in the list of documents to review during identity document validation, along with review instructions for signatories and the Badge Office.
Administrative Updates
- Improved tracking for Digicast training accomplishments.
- Badge Audits: Resolved an issue where duplicate badges could be included in an audit
- Corrected the “Failed” filter and CSV export, including individual audits marked “Unaccounted For.”
- Corrected an issue where the filters dropdown on the payments screen did not display correctly when opened.
- For airports tracking CBP requests, CBP agents can now view identity files in a new browser tab.
