If your applicant has misspelled or transposed their name, the application will need to be resubmitted. Because the applicant has legally signed a document with incorrect personal information, that error needs to be corrected before the application moves forward for vetting.
To fix it, a badge office staff member or signatory can reject the application and send it back to the applicant. The applicant will receive a new link along with a prompt to complete their application again. When rejecting, you can include a custom message explaining what needs to be corrected: for example, noting that their first and last name appear to be reversed or not matching their identity documents.
