No, reactivating a badge is not something signatories can do in AirBadge. If a badge needs to be reactivated, you’ll need to contact your badge office. Only users with an ASC or TA role can reactivate a badge.
Badges in AirBadge can be deactivated for several reasons, each represented by a distinct status:
- Lost, stolen, or destroyed: assigned when a badge is reported missing or unusable.
- Suspended: a temporary status used when a badge holder’s access needs to be paused.
- Terminated: assigned when a badge holder’s employment or access is ended.
- Expired: assigned automatically when a badge has reached the end of its validity period.
Regardless of the reason, none of these statuses can be reversed by a signatory. Contact your badge office to request reactivation.
