TSA and AirBadge highly encourage supplying an Alien Registration Number (ARN)/USCIS Registration Number for any badge applicant who has ever possessed one (especially for badge renewal applications).
While TSA and AirBadge do not enforce ARN submission, providing it is highly encouraged. Including the ARN enables the use of automated vetting tools, which may bypass the need for manual processing. This often reduces the background check timeline from weeks to just days.
