Where do I change the name on a badge?

Frequently Asked Questions

In most cases, a name change requires a new badge application. The person’s name in AirBadge, which is transmitted to TSC, should match the identity documents submitted with their application.

If your badge holder is TSC exempt, you can edit the person’s name in AirBadge without working through a new badge application. This name change will not be sent to TSC. However you might want to work through a new application anyway, since you’ll need to print a new badge with the person’s updated name.

During the badge application process, AirBadge collects the person’s name and their new identification documents. The applicant’s updated name is sent to TSC during the vetting process.

For our PACS-connected airports: Even if your AirBadge environment is connected to PACS, AirBadge does not accept updates to people using information from PACS: it only accepts updates to badges from PACS.
