A badge application cannot be completed until all required training is finished. This requirement is enforced automatically by AirBadge and there is no way for your signatory or the badge office to skip it.
How training requirements work
When your badge application reaches the training stage, AirBadge automatically assigns the courses required for your badge type and any endorsements you requested (for example, driving privileges). Depending on your airport, training is completed in AirBadge or in a connected training system.
Why your application shows incomplete after you finished a course
Two common reasons:
- Results can take time to arrive. When training happens in a connected training system, results flow back to AirBadge automatically, but not always instantly.
- Completion must be certified. Your badge office also manually reviews and certifies training completion on the application. The step will show complete after that review.
If you believe your training is done but your application hasn’t moved after a reasonable wait, contact your authorized signatory.
Don’t let your application expire
Badge applications have time limits and will terminate automatically if they don’t progress. Complete assigned training promptly. See What are the time limits on a badge application?
